36 x 48 Floortex Valuemat® Chair Mat for Low Pile Carpets

The durable vinyl chair mat provides long-lasting floor protection for carpets. It protects against damage from chair casters, wear and tear, scuffs, dirt, and spills. The mat has a smooth rolling surface for ergonomic comfort and high clarity to allow carpets to show through. It is free of phthalates, heavy metals, and BPA, making it safe for use around children and pets. The gripper back provides stability on low-pile carpets up to 1/4" thick.

This chair mat is designed for long-term protection against damage caused by caster-based office chairs. It is suitable for use on carpets up to 1/4" thick, including padding. In addition to protecting against damage, it also provides durable protection from stains, dirt, spills, and foot traffic. The clear vinyl allows carpets to show through for maximum visual effect and the extended extra-wide lip design offers additional floor protection under the desk.

The chair mat is tough, durable, and lightly textured for ergonomic chair glide control. It is also free of harmful DIDP phthalates, tin, lead, cadmium, and BPA for peace of mind use in the home or office. It contains up to 20% recycled material and has a gripper back for stability on low-pile carpets.

The mat arrives in rolled format with instructions included for effective unrolling and flattening. The flattening process can take up to 72 hours, depending on the room temperature. Please note that due to the manufacturing process, the product has a +/- 5% size tolerance with all measurements rounded to the nearest inch.

The chair mat is suitable for use on low-pile carpets up to 1/4" thick, including carpet pad. It is not suitable for hardwood or hard floor applications. The rectangular mat measures 48" x 36" with a lip size of 20" x 10" and comes with a 2-year limited warranty.
